Ford has a bold claim for its newly invigorated Fiesta Zetec S Red and Black Editions: they have a greater specific power output than a Bugatti Veyron! The downsizing trend continues apace and the new warm-hatch Fiestas are first to get a higher-output version of the 1.0-litre three-cylinder Ecoboost engine, tweaked to 138bhp thanks to variable cam timing, higher turbo boost and direct injection. Ford claims the new Fiesta specials are the most powerful 1.0-litre cars in the world.
The 2014 Acura ILX Hybrid goes on sale today in dealerships nationwide. The ILX hybrid model starts at $29,795 including destination. This Acura is the only luxury model that made the top-10 list of Generation Y car shoppers, according to J.D.

Rolls-Royce will show its new ‘baby’ car – though these things are relative – at the upcoming 2009 Geneva motor show, a year before sales commence in spring 2010. The Geneva ‘concept’ car is tagged 200EX but don’t be fooled by the experimental suffix. It’s the real thing – Rolls’ new £180,000 RR4 saloon (the production name is still secret).
